Back Pend Oreille County Fire Protection District No. 2 Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on October 25, 2004 Meeting called to order by Chairman Rick Stone at 10:00 at the Administrative Office. Present were: Commissioners Layton, Norton and Stone, Chief Pollock, District Operations Captain Doughty and Administrative Assistant Rumelhart. Guests or Public Appearances: None. Payment of Bills: None. Correspondence: None. Reports: Administrative Assistant Current fund balances were given to the board. Commissioner Stone Riveredge Estates Station – A water agreement with the Hacking is being worked on. Tiger Station – A water agreement with the Tiger Historical Society has been reached and will be signed shortly. Pager Repeater – The repeater has been removed from the Sand Creek site. We are still waiting on a response from the PUD. Commissioner Layton Nothing to Report. Commissioner Norton Extending the contract for the rent of the LeClerc building is being negotiated. Chief Report Renumbering of District personnel & equipment is almost complete. The EDITH (Exit Drills In The Home) trailer will be at Ione Elementary tomorrow. A letter of complaint regarding the action of a District responder has been received from the Ione Fire Department. Chief Pollock will collect information on the incident and present a written report to the Board. Old Business: Metaline Falls & Metaline Contracts – Drafts of the contracts were sent to the town on October 21st. EMT Class – Captain Doughty is finishing up a letter to be sent to the newspapers. New Business: Retirement – A discussion on enrolling the Administrative Assistant into the PERS retirement system was held. The meeting was adjourned at 11:12.
