Back Pend Oreille County Fire Protection District No. 2 Minutes of the Continued Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on April 19, 2004 Meeting called to order by Chairman Stone at 15:02 at Administrative Office, Metaline Falls, WA. Present were: Commissioners Stone and Layton, Administrative Assistant Rumelhart, Station 22 Lieutenant Johnson, EMS Training Officer Miller and member of the public Gwen Johnson. The preliminary continued agenda was approved. Executive Session: An executive session was held from 15:13 to 15:30 to review the performance of a public employee. Old Business: Employee Discipline – After the material from the investigation by John Hacking on the behavior of Frank Lynch was reviewed Commissioner Layton moved that Frank Lynch be suspended for 30 days retroactive to April 12th, after which his resignation will be accepted. Furthermore he will be put on probation for one year and the investigation findings will be placed in his personnel file. The motion passed unanimously. Radio Call Numbers – A list of proposed radio numbers was reviewed and approved. New Business: CPR MOU – Hospital District #2 presented a MOU to the Fire District to allow the Hospital District to use the Fire District’s CPR equipment & supplies. The MOU was reviewed and Commissioner Layton moved it be accepted. The motion was approved unanimously.
