Back Pend Oreille County Fire Protection District No. 2 Minutes of the Continued Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on March 8, 2004 Meeting called to order by Acting Chairman Miller at 1500 at Administrative Office, Metaline Falls, WA. Present were: Commissioners Miller and Layton, Administrative Assistant Rumelhart and the following members of the public: Freddie Nearing. EMS Training Lieutenant Miller arrived at 15:04. All outstanding bills were reviewed and approved for payment. Old Business: Paramedic Search – Commissioner Miller has received a paramedic application from a person that Newport Ambulance has recently hired part time. New Business: Resolution 04-02 – Resolution 04-02 creating a building fund was reviewed and approved unanimously. Newport Ambulance MOU – The renewal of the Newport Ambulance Medicare billing MOU was reviewed and approved unanimously. Scheduling & Stipend Policy – The Scheduling & Stipend Policy was reviewed. Commissioner Miller moved that the EMT-RN stipend classification be removed from the policy. The motion was approved. Organization Chart – The layout of the organization chart was rearranged but not changed. Executive Session: An executive session was held from 15:10 until 15:25 to review the performance of a public employee. No decisions were made.
