Minutes of the Continued Meeting of the
Board of Commissioners on August 14, 2003

The meeting continued from the Regular meeting that was scheduled on August 11, 2003 was called to order by Chairman Larson at 2000 at Station 21, 13501 Sullivan Lake Rd, Metaline Falls, WA. Present were: Commissioners Larson and Hubert, Administrative Assistant Rumelhart and EMS Training Officer Colleen Miller.

The minutes of the July regular meeting were reviewed and approved.
All outstanding bills were reviewed and approved for payment.

  • A letter was received from the DNR with information about wildland fire grants.

    • As of July 31, 2003 the General Fund has a balance of $9,802.96, the General Fund Investment Pool has $19,260.42, the Rescue Fund has a balance of $10,464.18, and the Rescue Fund Investment Pool has $25,136.58.

  • Organization Chart - The district organization chart was reviewed and approved unanimously.
  • Employment Roster - Tabled until next meeting.
  • CPR Stipends - Commissioner Hubert moved that because Mary Hubert and Nancy Kiss had to teach four extra CPR/First Aid classes for Seattle City Light, they receive an extra CPR stipend of $400.00 each. The motion was approved unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 2009, next meeting September 8, 2003, 18:30 at the Administrative Office.
